RAVES & FAVES: Don Jamieson of THAT METAL SHOW

DonJamieson

Comedian and THAT METAL SHOW co-host Don Jamieson spoke with us recently about all kinds of things, and then he shared with us his RAVES & FAVES: a list of his favorite clips from the Golden Age of Music Video. Surprise surprise — they ‘re all metal! And here they are:

“For me, coming up through the MTV generation, the videos with girls were always better for me,” Jamieson explained. “Motley Crue ‘Girls Girls Girls’ comes to mind as one I’ll always remember.”

“Warrant ‘Cherry Pie’. Look, no one will accuse Janie Lane of being Bob Dylan on that one, but I still remember  Bobbi Brown [actress] from that video.” (We spoke with director Jeff Stein about that one.)

“Lita Ford ‘Kiss Me Deadly’. Can’t really go wrong with that one.”

“Whitesnake ‘Here I Go Again’ with Tawny [Kitaen] on the car. Gotta put that one in.”

“Twisted Sister ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ and ‘I Wanna Rock’. Those videos were comedic, and those songs are incredible anthems.”
